Transphobic Misogynists <3 Miss Universe Pageants

*TRIGGER ALERT* Harsh Language Against Transgender Women

In keeping with gross stereotypes of women promoted by the pageant system in general, the controversy surrounding Jenna Talackova’s ejection from the Miss Universe pageant in Canada has garnered some fascinatingly frustrating transphobia in the Twitterverse aimed at trans women, particularly in response to tweets from Talackova, saying she is “not giving up.” And “I’m not going to just let them disqualify me over discrimination.”

Transphobia often resembles unbridled dickishness.

Transphobic people have an inherent fear of sex

They failed English class

And tend to think gender variant people are inferior, yet have an inherent advantage

Visit the change.org petition to support Talackova to compete for the crown. The petition has already drawn 20,000 signatures.
