Gender Wildness: An Art Challenge!
Dear Readers,
Welcome to Wild Gender’s first ever Winter Solstice Art Call. We invite you to make a gender-riffic art project (audio, visual, poetic) and submit it to us by Jan. 1, 2012. Let’s welcome the new year with unwieldy gender fabulousness!
Our only qualification is that the content of your artwork or you, yourself, relate to our mission of flagrant gender variance.
How would you like to tell the story of your 2011? Or, at least, the last few weeks of 2011? Whatever story you choose, we’d like to publish your videos, photography, visual art, creative writing or any other amazing work of yours into an online Wild Gender art show.
Please submit a short biography, photo, and what pronouns you prefer, with your project. We will publish all selected work on this site throughout the month of January. Email us at wildgender at gmail dot com.
