CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: Radical Queer Anthology
By Brody Wood
I am in search of radical queer critiques (essays, poems, stories, creative nonfiction, articles, reviews, comics, etc.) on the strategies of assimilation within the rhetoric of the Liberal gay agenda’s prioritization of gay marriage in the United States.

Please submit your thoughts and writing on themes of consolidation of power and privileges, marginalization, access to healthcare, normalcy, state-sanctioned recognition, family values, separatism, institutional perpetual violence, validity, and the incomparability true intersectionality of race, class, sex, sexuality, gender, trans status, immigration status, and other identities, largely in the context of mainstream gay political fixations of gay marriage to brodyxwood@gmail.com.
The deadline for submissions is September 15 and the zine slated for release in October, 2012. It will be similar to something I’d made a couple of years ago, though this time thicker, less geographically secluded, not out of date, and of more mediums, identities, and experiences.
Please repost and talk about this project so it will reach networks that I can’t reach on my own. A printable version for flying is embedded below. Submissions in the context of the MIC and the repeal of DADT, hate crimes legislation and the PIC, etc. will of course be considered.
